Business Development Manager

We are an Adelaidebased organisation, dedicated to delivering exceptional client service. We have built a team of accountants and financial advisers who are highly qualified and widely experienced. We provide integrated financial services and solutions to a broad range of clients including individuals, small to medium businesses and family groups. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic individual to help us expand our client base.

You will be the ambassador for the organisation and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective growth strategy for new business. Your goal will be to drive sustainable financial growth through introducing new business and forging strong relationships with current and future clients. Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager
  • Proven track record
  • Experience in client support would be advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • University degree in Business and/ or Marketing or at least five years’ experience in a similar role

Management and Financial Accountant in Private Practice

We are a successful medium sized Chartered Accounting and Financial Planning practice based in Kent Town. We provide professional and personalised accounting, financial planning and taxation services to a diverse client base.

We are seeking a CA/CPA qualified accountant with at least 5 years experience.  The role will entail providing ongoing services to a significant client as well as undertaking other tax and business advisory work as required. A high level of attention to detail is required in this role as well as excellent client relationship skills, and may suit someone with a management accounting background looking to return to private practice.

We have a high level of cross-referral between our accounting and financial planning divisions, therefore we are looking for someone interested in developing their understanding of holistic financial advice. This position is a full time role and offers excellent career opportunities with a remuneration and incentive package commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Intermediate Accountant

We are a successful medium sized Chartered Accounting and Financial Planning practice based in Kent Town. We provide professional and personalised accounting, financial planning and taxation services to a diverse client base.

We are looking for an enthusiastic CA or CPA, with at least 5 years private practice experience, a dynamic personality and strong client focus to join our accounting team. The position requires skills and experience in providing high level business advice to our client base.  Strong business development and client relationship skills are also a must.

Junior Paraplanner

Crosby Dalwood is a dynamic and highly professional firm of Business and Financial Advisers and Accountants on the city fringe in Kent Town, Adelaide. We are Count Financial Limited’s top franchisee in South Australia and also part of the Countplus network.

About the Role
As a Junior Paraplanner you will be part of a team responsible for the preparation of advice documents. This is a very important role within the business where you will be working closely with an award winning adviser as their right hand to complete research and be a contact for clients. You will also need to work closely with other team members, including Paraplanners, Client Service Officers and Accountants. You will have a sound level of knowledge of the financial planning process and a sound level of technical knowledge. As part of your role, you will be actively encouraged to provide ideas to enhance our processes and service to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and efficient preparation of client advice documents
  • To gather information directly from clients and assist with their queries
  • Keep abreast of internal template, policy and procedure changes
  • To be individually responsible for meeting key performance indicators
  • Actively contribute to continually improving the endtoend customer experience and paraplanning process

Qualifications and Key Characteristics:

  • A sound understanding of the technical issues that relate to the financial planning industry
  • Professional qualifications or currently undertaking relevant studies
  • A good working knowledge of Financial Planning compliance requirements
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • A passion for financial planning
  • Commitment to lifelong learning
  • High attention to detail
  • Be able to develop and maintain client relationships in a professional manner

Behavioural Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation
  • Collaborate and contribute to a positive organisational and team culture
  • Work as part of a team and also autonomously when needed
  • Deal in a friendly, courteous manner with management, staff and clients at all times

Experience Required:

  • Junior paraplanning experience in the Financial Planning Industry
  • A minimum of 12 months’ experience using Xplan
  • Solid ability to model and review comprehensive advice using Xplan
  • A market related remuneration package will be offered depending on experience, skills and qualifications.
