Count Adelaide – the start of a new chapter for Crosby Dalwood
It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce that Crosby Dalwood Pty Ltd will be merging with Warnecke & Co, to form a new business which will be known as Count Adelaide. This change will take effect over the coming weeks and we will keep you updated as matters progress.
Warnecke & Co is a longstanding accounting firm based in Hutt Street which has been servicing clients in the area for the past 31 years. There are similarities between their business and ours, making this merger a natural fit for our clients. They have similar values and culture, share our approach to service and believe in delivering exceptional client outcomes.
However, the name change to Count Adelaide is a signal of a deeper commitment – to align behind a promise we are making to our clients: The confidence to look ahead. As you would already know, Count is the provider of our financial planning licence and we have been part of their community for 32 years, so the decision to rebrand under their name makes sense for the merged business.
What’s not changing?
Our valued team that you know and trust will remain with the business, along with some new faces. Helga Baxter will continue to service clients as Director Financial Advisory, along with our financial adviser Venetia Langlands. Tyson Ayris from Warnecke & Co is the new addition to our financial planning team. Sam Crawford will continue to service our accounting clients along with Peter Burrows (who will become Managing Principal) & Tony Nacarella (Director Taxation & Business Advisory).
Peter is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years’ experience assisting businesses of all sizes to grow and achieve success. Tony, who specialises in taxation accounting for small to medium-sized businesses will also be joining the management team as Director Taxation & Business Advisory. Tony was one of the founding partners at Warnecke. While this change will foster greater collaboration across Count’s national network, our commitment to you and the Adelaide community is unchanged.
Next steps
We look forward to welcoming our new business partners who will add further depth and experience to our business.
